I can relate! Our now 4 year old had hair down her back by age 2, very curly. It's thick so we cut it shoulder length. Curls are...gone. But we fight much less mornings, but still, I miss all that hair and curls!

I'm the same way with my youngest. I know I won't have another little head with ringlets, so I get a little sad.

I hear you, I really do. For me it was the baby chub. Miss R was born and was very skinny from the get go. Baby D however came out a whopping 9 lbs, 12 oz and she was just a chunk of baby.

She had all the fat rolls up and down her thighs, and on her wrists. Her cheeks were just so full and kissable. I adored the chub and would kiss her chubby thighs, and cheeks all the time. I took pictures of the fat rolls because I knew that they would be fleeting.

And now at 10 months she is lean, and skinny. She still has the roundness of the face but no longer the chipmonk cheeks of the past. I am sad, I loved my chubba bubba and all her fat rolls. They do grow up mighty quick. Especially the first year.
