Hug Twice

So, I have a confession to make.  We have someone coming today to install a new furnace, and part of that is they will clean our existing vents.  I have meant to have this done (the cleaning vent part) since we moved in, and haven’t yet.  But today, we do.

So last night, I had to find all our vents.

We’re not well behaved about the vents.  If they were in an inconvenient place, I simply closed them up and put my furniture where I wanted it.  In fact, there is still one trapped behind my desk, and I hope they just say they’ll skip cleaning it out, because, well… I don’t want to move my desk.  At all.

I don’t know how vents get cleaned, so i don’t know if this is possible.  But, I did move everything away from the rest of the vents.  So maybe no one will realize we just do whatever we want.

I’m not really looking forward to this at all.  But I am looking forward to the new furnace, at least.  Since our current furnace has decided to be possessed by something and turn on and off at will without any input from us, it’ll be nice to have some control again.

I hope the people don’t get irked about the vents.
