She Thinks She’s A Big Girl

Alexa has decided that anything CJ can do, she can do too.  She stands on his scooter, she rides his tricycle (she can’t reach the pedals so we push her along), and she generally tries to do anything he can do.  We try to help her as best we can, and let her feel like one of the big kids.

Yesterday, after CJ and his friend M took off their helmets and climbed into his treehouse, she took M’s helmet, popped it on her head, and tried to get on his bike.  Which is not a tricycle.  It is a two-wheeler, with no training wheels.

So we had to politely decline letting her have a chance to try.  She was not amused.

LOL - she sounds like my 2-year-old, who insists on doing everything that her big sisters do. With somewhat predictable results a lot of the time. And a similar lack of amusement on her part. :)
