Don’t Be Getting Too Overexcited Over Here

On Friday, CJ came home with a band-aid on his arm. I am only home with him for about 15 minutes before I leave for work, and his shirt sleeve was covering the band-aid, so I didn’t notice it until Saturday morning. I asked Matt what happened, and Matt said that CJ told him it happened at school and nothing else.
So I ask CJ, why do you have a band-aid on your arm? And he says he got it at school.
I say: “CJ, that is where you got it, not why. Why did you get it?”
And he says: “Mommy, just chill.”
It was all Matt and I could do to not burst out laughing.
