Wait - What Was I Saying?
Jaimie on Nov 18th 2008
So I was so impressed and happy about CJ’s using turns of phrase and less obvious language to express himself. And then there was this morning:
CJ: I’m sorry I won’t behave at school today.
Me: What do you mean you won’t behave? You haven’t been there yet.
CJ: But I feel goofy and I won’t behave.
Me: CJ, we need to use our self control and make good choices here. You can behave at school today.
CJ: We’ll see.
We’ll see? Heh. Cute, but um, not what I was looking for.
He’s at school now, I hope he’s “seeing” how to behave. ![]()

You have every right to be proud and joyous over your little guy’s accomplishments. Achieving the nuances of language is a big step, indeed! Congratulations to you both.
