I’ve Been visitin’ some carnivals!

Jaimie on Dec 1st 2007

A carnival is a collection of links to posts about a single topic, collected together and published on a single blog. Many carnivals travel from blog to blog, week to week. I submitted posts from last week to three different blog carnivals and I am happy to say, they were all selected to appear in their respective carnivals. I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to the hosts for including me, as well as highlighting a few of the posts I particularly liked from each carnival.

First, the Carnival of SAHMs was at Wired For Noise. I love her tagline: “My Boys Were Born Loud”. Yeah, my kids too. Heh. My post Personality vs Upbringing - So Far, Personality Wins was included as well as these posts I particularly enjoyed:

  • What Works For Us: Bliss Like This. A lot of me feels the same way. The reason I can’t bear to work outside the home all day is really a selfish one - I can’t bear to leave.
  • Up the Hill Gang: Quick and Easy Stocking Stuffer. My kids are too young for me to make these for them, but I think they are really cute little gifts!

The Carnival of Family Life was at On The Horizon and my post It’s Hard to Watch Your Child Be Bullied was included. I also really liked this post:

  • Building Blocks Blog: Teaching Your Child Patience. I need to apply this. My children… not so patient. Either of them. Me either. Can it teach me patience or is it too late? ;)

And finally The Mom’s Blogging Carnival was at Australian Women Online and my article Capillary Action was included! I also really liked this post:

  • The Digerati Life: What Do Potty Training Mishaps Got To Do With Money? I am in the midst of a potty training nightmare that I just hope to wake up from someday. Heh. Oh my…. it stinks. I need to keep my eye on the prize… he will be potty trained someday… someday…. if only he was as cooperative as this little one. :) Who is probably potty trained by now. CJ do you hear me? Heh.
